Welcome, you navigated the internet portal of German federal association of the Limousin-breeders. In the German beef cattle breeding and beef cattle farming, the Limousin race is one of the most important breeds. In 11 federal states breed associations you can find herd book Limousins, which are supervised by the stipulation of the federal association of the Limousin-breeders. Apart from the classical breeding orientation, this is oriented towards economic parameters; the German breeding region is a model of the integration of the qualitative feature “polled livestock” into the population of the beef cattles.
